“The workplace environment is transitioning into more of a hospitality experience,” says Chris Payne, Senior Vice President at Riverside Investment and Development. In this episode, Chris describes how his team is creating a distinct sense of place for 1900 Lawrence, Denver’s new Class A office building that will transform the city skyline and the overall corporate workplace mentality. Instead of stark hallways or siloed spaces, 1900 Lawrence will feature hotel-like amenities including a dynamic art program, outdoor terraces, ground floor retail and restaurant options, welcoming plazas for socialization, and more. Chris describes how these choices help to catalyze collaboration, inspire innovation, and even drive ROI outcomes like faster lease up rates and tenant retention. Tune in for valuable insight on the importance of project partnerships to bring a vision to life, and the need to shift thinking from “how” we build buildings to “why.”
